What Builders Finance collects on this site, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. In plain language, and limited to what actually runs here.
What this policy covers
Builders Finance ("we," "us," or "our") operates buildersfinance.co. This policy explains what information the site collects, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. It covers this website. It does not cover other sites we link to, which have their own policies.
Information you give us
The only form on this site is the subscribe form for The Profitable Real Estate Operator, our weekly email. It asks for your email address, and it uses confirmed opt-in: you receive an email asking you to confirm, and nothing is sent until you do.
If you email us, we have whatever you put in that message.
We do not collect payment information, Social Security numbers, or any other sensitive financial information through this site.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read. It may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the page that referred you, the pages you visit, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We look at this in aggregate — which guides are read, which are not — and we do not try to identify individual readers from it.
There is no advertising pixel on this site, no session recording, no tag manager, and no cross-site tracking of any kind.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies that let it tell one visit from another. The site itself sets only what it needs to work correctly.
We use no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies.
How we use your information
We use what we hold to:
- send you the weekly email you subscribed to, and nothing you did not ask for;
- reply to questions you send us;
- understand, in aggregate, which parts of the Library are useful.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Our email is sent through Kit (kit.com), which stores your email address and records whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked. Kit processes that information on our behalf.
Every email carries an unsubscribe link. Using it removes you from the list, and we process that immediately.
Service providers
Three services handle information for this site to work:
- Bluehost hosts the site, and its servers process the requests needed to serve pages to you.
- Google Analytics provides the audience measurement described above.
- Kit stores the subscriber list and sends the email.
Each processes data under its own privacy policy, and we do not give any of them permission to use your information for their own marketing.
Purchases happen somewhere else
This site does not sell anything and does not process payments. If a digital product of ours is available for sale, that purchase takes place on a separate site operated with a checkout provider, and that site's own privacy policy and terms govern it. Payment details are collected and processed there, never here.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, you come off the active list. You can ask us to delete your information entirely at any time, using the address below.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop emailing you, which you can also do yourself from any email.

Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when what we do changes. The date in the header is when it last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
